Plain language, because this matters. Here’s exactly what Cannabrands collects, what we do with it, and the things we will never do.

What we collect

Only what makes the product work:

Account basics — your name, mobile number and email, when you create an account or track a product.
Activity — what you search, the products you track, the bags you reserve, and the feedback you choose to leave.
Location — the city or ZIP you set, so we can show nearby shelves. We don’t track your precise location in the background.

How we use it

To do the job you asked for, and nothing sneaky:

Send the price-drop and restock texts you turned on.
Keep your shelf, bags and journal in sync across your devices.
Make your results and recommendations more useful over time.

Consent

By using Cannabrands — including, but not limited to, giving us your personal data — you consent to our collecting and using it as described here. Where you turn on text or email alerts, you also consent to receiving those messages (see “Messaging” below). You can withdraw consent at any time using the controls below; withdrawing it may mean parts of the service no longer work for you.

Messaging

Turning on text alerts opts you in to recurring automated texts (price-drop, restock and new-drop alerts) at the number you provide. Consent to texts is never a condition of using the site or of a purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Email alerts work the same way, with an unsubscribe link in every message. Full terms are in our Terms of Use.

What we never do

These are hard lines:

We never sell your personal data, full stop.
We never show your feedback, journal or purchase history to other shoppers — product sentiment goes to brands aggregated and private, store feedback goes to that store.
We don’t run a public review system, and we don’t let anyone pay to influence what you see.

Your controls

You’re in charge:

Export or delete your data any time from your account.
Reply STOP to any text to turn off messages instantly.
Manage notification channels and your saved shelf from Settings.
