About this strain

Skunk #1 — indica

Skunk #1, bred by Sam the Skunkman, is the descendent of (Afghani x Colombian Gold) crossed with Acapulco Gold. This cultivar originated in Santa Cruz, CA, progressed to the seed banks of Amsterdam, and finally spread throughout the world. Skunk’s smell is a mashup of microbiological earthiness with undertones of bitter jasmine, sour lemons, and spice. The smoke is the iconic sour skunk flavor; while some Skunk phenotypes have a sweet nuance, all Skunk #1 settles with browned butter flavor mixed with burnt rubber. The effects are reliable and potent, with deep body relaxation and highs so heady that “skunk" became the term to describe powerful cannabis.

Frequently asked

Is Skunk #1 an indica or sativa?

Skunk #1 is a hybrid. The strain profile is the same wherever you buy it — only the price and which shelves stock it change from store to store.

What does Skunk #1 taste like?

Its aroma and flavor are shaped by its Myrcene, Pinene and Limonene terpenes. Terpene data exists for only a small share of products, so where it's available — as it is here — it's worth weighing.
